If you're allergic to peanuts STAY AWAY from Bentley's! It's crawling with peanuts at the bar. The staff have no clue about cross-contamination and are even insulting when asked about the peanuts. To the rude waiter who told me that Loblaw's also has peanuts... it's not the same issue. It's not enough to say that you don't use peanut oil. Learn about the very real dangers of cross-contamination, how customers and staff who handle the peanuts can leave traces of peanut residue all over the restaurant and perhaps even on your plates or food. No peanut-allergic person would eat at this place, but the staff still needs to show courtesy, understanding and allergy awareness to the people who come in to inquire. Very poor attitude. And really... are peanuts THAT important to customers at the bar??
