Favorite thing: The atmosphere! But for this tip when you are driving and it is late and you are tired you don't want to make this mistake. When driving to the resort you are literally going to come to a fork in the road when you are basically there. Both signs are going to say Mont Tremblant. If you want the resort pick the one with the logo and turn "right" or you will end up like me lost in the night because I went "left" and wasted an hour in the little town of Mont Tremblant. It was so dark I couldn't see that the resort was simply on the other side of the lake!!!!

    Fondest memory: Ice climbing!

    Mt Tremblant

    by RACCOON1 Updated Jun 1, 2004

Favorite thing: Mt. Tremblant is a destination resort with both summer and winter activities to choose from .

In the winter it is a place to ski . Americans and Europeans think that Quebec winters are extremely cold . January and February are cold months and you have to dress properly to avoid frost bite .

By the last week of February things start to warm up .

In March you have to avoid the week of the Ontario Schools March break . On this week hoards of Ontarioans go skiing in Quebec and Mt. Tremblant is a favourite . If the weather and conditions on that week are exceptional crowds become a major issue as residents of Montreal and Ottawa will take a day off work to go skiing .

    Mt. Tremblant is located 90 miles ( 150 km) north of Montreal ( a 90 minute drive ) .

  • Interesting place

Favorite thing: When I took the cable car to the top of the mountain and looked down on the city, it reminded me of a monopoly board after the game has been played for awhile. All green and red roofs......anyway, wander beyond the resort, go canoing in the Parc, it's so peaceful....

    Walking around, hand in hand..

    by Deus_ultima Written Feb 21, 2003

    Favorite thing: Just walk around..
The village (thought all fabricated for the resort) is really sweet looking and some stores aren't too much of a rip-off.

It can be very romantic to just stroll around with the majesty of Tremblant behind you.
    :)

    Beautifull streets
