Montreal can be a jumping off...

Favorite thing: Montreal can be a jumping off place to other nearby towns and resorts. The Laurentian mountains, north of Montreal, can be reached within an hour or two by car. Skiing in the winter is fabulous at such resorts as Mont Tremblant and Greyrocks. In the summer Hotels and Bed and Breakfasts offer great restaurants, boating, waterslides, golfing, and other outdoor activities for everyone.

Also within an hour or two of Montreal you can reach the Eastern Townships, in French, Les Cantons de L'Est. Many charming towns, like Lake Brome, Bromont, and other villages offer Bed and Breakfasts, and Inns, that also host winter Skiing and other cultural and sporting activities and festivals in summer as well

Favorite thing: MOntreal ZOo near the frontier between United states and Canada is must see.

We stayed at the Montreal Sheraton, excellent service and good food. We had the Sheraton CLub Card and were given excellent rooms.

Fondest memory: Walking on Mt-Bruno! I love this place. It's a 2 min walk from my place and it's a getaway from the city.
