Cafe des Eclusiers is a bar located right on the banks of St Laurent river near the old town. It is a very happening place during the warm and sunny months with its many terraces. On Thursdays, all the young professionals of Montreal come here after work for Happy Hour: to see and be seen. It is full of models and wannabes, therefore a great place to people watch, but a meat market as well....

A great place for nightlife in Montreal is on Rue St. Laurent. A must is Club a Go-Go. Although it's a little cramped, its 60's atmostphere and intenese martini's will make up for it. Club a Go-Go is lit in all red and is decked out in retro 60's furniture.
Although Montreal is quite a trendy town, a Go-Go calls for a more relaxed, yet hip dress. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: Club a Go-Go is on the west side on St. Laurent, just north of Prince Arthur.

Reportedly a club cum brewpub on former capital street of nightlife, Crescent. I can't make a report as in two days, I just couldn't do them all. All the more reason to go back.
Smart but casual. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: 1219 rue CrescentPhone: (514) 393-9277

There's TONS of amazing clubs/bars in Montreal. 'Cheers' and 'The Peel pub' and good bets to meet the usual 21-25 University crowd. If you're into dancing, check out the 'Buzz Club' or try listening to 97.7 and 95.9 (2 of the biggest radio stations in Montreal) for club announcements. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub
