  • Sad car trip with wild animals?

    by maxip1 Written Aug 7, 2007 1 reviews

This place may have seemed like a good idea in the 60's but driving your car through a park with bewildered wild animals seems cruel and anachronistic.
Perhaps the whole idea is bad. A safari parc in Quebec means that these wild analmals including a single elephant, are kept in barns for over 6 months at a time. In the case of the elephant, the rest of the year is spent chained without any contact with a member of his species.
This place needs to be closed or at the very least modernized. In equipment, in spirit, in concept... Ah, forget it, just close it.
Its cruel, stupid, governent subsudized crap.

    The Parc-Safari
A great family destination for a day of fun. You start with a huge line of cars waiting to enter the park (at least you receive the visit of ostriches or zebras peeking through your windows while you wait), then go drive the winding road through zones covering the globe and feed, pet, bunch of free-ranging animals.
Inside, an attration park and more dangerous animals in lots awaits you. Also, a pond and small water slides will cool you off on a hot day.
