Chez Cora
This was originally a family owned business and it has spawned into a chain of 50 breakfast places all over the province of Quebec. The atmosphere is usually bustling and full of francophones. For us, it holds a special place in our hearts and I am surprised to hear not everyone enjoys it as much as we do.. try it out anyway.
Favorite Dish:
Gotta start off with that day's special fruit coktail. They usually have some pretty exotic flavors and the fruits are displayed above the kitchen. The rest is up to you, lots of cuisine to offer I like the eggs benny- you can have the regular with ham or for a veggie like me, replace the meat with mushrooms and brie cheese or asparagus or spinach and cheddar! There's also tons of savory and sweet crepes, french toast, omelets, fruit plates and the traditional egg dishes. Watch out for those cretons!
Chez Cora is the right stop for breakfast if you like fruit and LOADS of it. Each fruit plate I have ever had was piled high!! The crepes are traditional and the English Creme is to die for.
It is a chain restaurant dedicated to the breakfasts and only to the breakfasts.
I recommend : it is gorgious !
Favorite Dish:
Giant pancakes with fruits but there is also the traditional American breakfast.
