 | Montreal Metro Reviews | Tips 31 - 40 of 117 | | The metro will take you everywhere you need to go if you can't walk. In the winter, the stops connect Montreal's underground city so you don't even have to go outside! If you plan to use the system a lot, get either a tourist pass (good for any three days) or a weekly pass (valid from Monday to Sunday). Leave a Comment

The Metro is excellent. You can get pretty well anywhere with it. It's clean, efficient, and easy to navigate. And check out those rubber wheels!! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Our metro is very safe and quite cheap (2.25$ for bus AND metro, plus you get free transfer coupons!) AND for the next few months, POETRY FROM 96 POETS will scroll on the screens inside the metro cars on the theme of : HOPE so that your day commuting is a better one :) You can also buy a strip of tickets that you can use for buses AND subway for only a few dollars more. Parking is complicated here because the no parking signs are always so confusing..so just take public transports, walk, rollerblade or bike around. :) Leave a Comment

Montreal has its airport just 15 minutes driving from Montreal. A bus takes you downtown if you want to save some bucks. Getting to Montreal is the easy part. Once downtown, either walk or take the subway (called Metro). One can get a pass for a day($7), a week ($14) or a month($50). All in Canadian $ or pay per trip ($2).m While paying to take the 'metro'(subway) ask for a free map of Montreal (most stations have them). Montreal has a small but efficiant metro network. However, there is a lot of bus you can take to move in the city. If you are in Montreal for longer than 4 days, I would recommand you to buy the weekly pass since the tourist card is the same price(14$) but for only 3 days... The STM (Société de Transport de Montréal) has a interesting feature on their website which will suggest several itineraries, taking your departure and arrival points into account, as well as the day and time of your trip. I heavily recommand to use it with the 'text search'! Itinerary calculator STM website Leave a Comment Theme: Train

The best way to travel in downtown Montreal is by using the Metro (subway). You can buy a 3 day card which will give you access to all the Metro lines. Be careful some lines close earlier then others. Montreal Metro is very reliable. Many busses will take you anywhere you want in downtown Montreal. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

The Métro is by far the best way to get around. A ticket anywhere on the line costs $2, but a pass will earn a hefty discount if one uses the Metro often. There are four lines, of which I've taken two, the green and the orange. Both run through the centre of the city. The green line is the most heavily used and oldest line and therefore displays its wear and tear a little more than the newer orange line, which features an LCD screen with news updates, weather, and een record sales updates. All lines have trains that run on rubber wheels to minimise noise and discomfort. Leave a Comment Theme: Train
