Outside the walls there's a lot to see along Rue Richelieu or its inwalls partner Rue St.Jean. That's for having dinner and a shopping walk. But on the other side of the hill, the illuminated buildings make that part of the city a nice view by night (even better with somebody to share).

Warm enough :)
Visit the Quartier du Petit Champlain
At the bottom of the ancient rampart, there is a sympathetic area of shops and restaurants.
A bit touristy but very pleasant especially at night.
There is a funicular to link terrasse Duferin and the Petit Champelain.
Just walking around at night in any partof the old town. You always have this feeling your alone with your loved one, talking about the fuure, breathing the cool, fresh air, looking down the st-lawrence or looking up at the castle..
A MUST for anybody that feels a bit romantic...bah!! for anybody..you can't not feel romantic there!!
;)
The best way to end a perfect evening in Quebec is by strolling round the city streets, and then sitting on a bench on the Terrasse Duferin, and taking in the peaceful nightime atmosphere
