We had finished lunch in Rue Du Tresor and decided to continue along the Rue looking at the art on display in the stalls lining the path. Entering the next street we decided to window shop on our way back to our hotel and very soon came to the Christmas Shop.
An ideal place to amuse yourself for 20 minutes this 2 level shop was crammed with decorations to suit all budgets. My wife was tempted to buy but declined as we had 7 more weeks of travel and the risk of breakage was high.
What to buy: Anything to do with Christmas.
This store is for the year round Christmas freaks that just love Christmas no matter what time of the year it is.
This store is for them.
I have to admit it was early February when I walked in and I picked up a couple of Christmas gifts, I couldn't help it. Albeit 11 months early!!!!
What to buy: It's hard to recommend what to buy because everything you need for Christmas is there.
I can't say what I bought because I don't want the people to find out prior to December 25th :-)
I admit.. I have a secret obscessionb...CHRISTMAS VILLAGES!!!
and If you share the same, go to this shop where you'll find the largest selection of houses from DEPARTMENT 56 I've ever seen and the largest permanent Christmas village exhibition in the world!!
What to buy: Christmas houses of course!!
(for decorations, i suggest the other store on my page)
What to pay: This is a passion..price has no meaning...
We have a store that is a touristic attraction. You can get your christmas decorations anytime of the year. Many boutiques of all kind of stoff like antique, arts, sculpture (inuit or indian) etc....
