The Sainte-Foy area is home to three big shopping centers all located next to one another: Place Laurier, Place de la Cite and Place Sainte-Foy. Place Laurier is the biggest of the three, with over 350 stores located on three levels, including Old Navy, H&M, Freedom Central, HMV, Toys R' Us and Renaud-Bray. Place de la Cite is the smallest one and there you'll find several novelty and independent stores, including Quebec City's only English bookstore: La Maison Anglaise (www.lamaisonanglaise.com). The last mall, Place Sainte-Foy, is slightly more upperscale, with stores such as Les Ailes de la Mode, Zara, Parasuco, Lacoste, Guess and Tommy Hilfiger, but that's also where you'll find Simons (clothes) and Archambault (music & books), two popular Quebec-based stores. All three malls have their own foodcourt, cafes and restaurants and if you happen to be there on a rainy day, you'll quickly realize that next to the Old City, shopping might very well be Quebec City's most popular attraction!
Opening hours: Monday to Wednesday, 10:00 am to 5:30 pm; Thursday and Friday, 10:00 am to 9:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This shop is great because the cd's etc are most cheaper than their competitors HMV and Musicworld. An average cd costs between $15.99-$16.99 CAD. You can also listen to whatever cd you want in the shop!
What to pay: i could spent an total amount of about $40 CAD on 2 cd's because they are so cheap!
