This museum in Place Royale tells the history of the lower and oldest part city of Old Quebec. In addition to a few rooms of exhibits, a movie on the life of Champlain is included.

So charming, I loved it. You’ll find plenty of boutiques and restaurants on this street. One such gastronomic find was the Le Lapin Saute. For more information, view my restaurant pages.

Very quaint area in the lower town near the harbour. Nice little shops and some great restaurants. During December there was also some open-air theatre by local groups.

This was the area that made me feel that this was Europe. It is filled with many small shops and nice restaurants. A must visit while in Quebec.
