if you want to see some awesome sunrises, find the top of a hill in sherbrooke and wait for the sun to rise (it rose around 5.55am when i was there in sherbrooke in march.) great views, great picture opportunities, like this one!!!
This basilica, downtown Sherbrooke is not only very impresive architecturally, but it's also just beside the old seminary and a few historical spots so It's not out of the way and once you park your car here, you can walk around and see a few nice things.
For nature lovers that are not necesarilly into skiing and stuff, Mont Orford is more than just a ski hill!
Come and canoe, hike,picnic and do all sorts of activities in this parc member of the SEPAQ (governing board for provincial parcs in Quebec) Entry is 3.50 for adults and 1.50 for kids and is based on honor.
