This is a Great Restaurant, the atmosphere is relaxing and I felt immediately at Home
The Owners are ever so welcoming, Jasmine, the Hotes/Owner she is a beautiful woman and the fact that they travelled so much and that one of them is Italian makes even more charming.
The food, well the food it's what I love about restaurant...I mean good restaurants...There is a lot of romance around what they cook.
The bread that arrives a t the table is Made By Mario, the Owner/Chef, and the Home made fresh pasta too.
I had the scallops with celery roots and a beautiful sauce made with capers and raisins...a bit sweet and salty...it really wowed me.
You see when a get sea scallops and it is perfectly cooked...i know I am in a good restaurant..nice and crusty in the outside, still soft in the inside.
The Wellington of Buffalo i had it was the best i have had, with tiny mushrooms and a bit of truffles...
This is to my opinion the only restaurant that serves proper food in the all region, forget about any restaurants in Trois rivieres...no match
The Manoir Sits in a beautiful enchanting spot...no noises, lots of green and it has a beautiful garden were you can even eat.
They also have some beautiful suites....very European

This restaurant, tucked away on a back street, is a fabulous find. Small and noisy, still the service was outstanding. I expected to conduct the ordering and reading of the menu in French, since we were quite a ways up in Quebec, but the staff pegged us right away as Americans and made a gallant effort to use English. The 'Table d'hote' or Specials were displayed on a chalkboard easel which was carried to the table and described in detail by our waiter. I chose the caribou, which I had only eaten once before, and loved. For $23.95 Canadian (less than $16 US) my meal included an appetizer -- rouleaux de champignons (finely chopped portobello mushrooms, sauteed in white wine and rolled in phyllo) -- and filet mignon of caribou in a red wine sauce, with grilled baby potatoes and baby carrots, an ornate petite house salad, everything exquisitely garnished. I am in awe.
