Named the Chocolate Moose, it is actually more of a tourist souvenir store than a sweets shop. There's lots of t-shirts, posters, souvenir mugs, etc. Quite large selection, but I wasn't looking closely so I can't speak for the prices.
The fudge and ice cream counter is what likely draws the people in, but they both take up the smallest space. They had a dozen or so flavors of ice cream and maybe twenty homemade flavors of fudge.
Favorite Dish: I'm a glutton for all things sweet, so its hard to stay away from fudge. The chocolate was good, as was the maple. But with over 20 flavors, I didn't sample them all.
It was close to nine o'clock in the evening by the time we checked into the motel. The only real option was fast food or this brew pub which billed itself as the place to be for late night dining. Who can pass up the prospect of a few pints of beer with a hamburger or a chicken sandwich. We would have been better off with the Burger King drive-thru and a six pack from the convenience store.
The place was filthy, the waitstaff was juvenile and more interested in playing practical jokes on their fellow workers than serving customers and the food was lousy. It felt as if we were intruding on the waitresses personal party and they resented our presence. In fact we even got yelled at when we went up to the bar to pay the bill after waiting a half hour for its non-appearance.
Actually this is a coffee shop, but you can order a lunch or a dessert as well.
Favorite Dish: I ordered a coffee and a cheese cake.
Well, OK this is just another Mc Donald's restaurant, but look at the building isn't it cool and different?
Favorite Dish: I usually order a deli sendwich.
