Golden Pagoda Burmese Asian Restaurant: Yummy Burmese Cuisine

by Babzz Written Feb 3, 2008

The restaurant is cozy, very clean and nicely decorated with ethnic artwork. I liked the informative page about Miramar (Burma) in the menu. There was a good selection of dishes. We were there for lunch. The portion sizes were great - we had lunch for the next day as well! Definitely recommended.

Liberty's Montreal Smoked Meat Restaurant and Deli: Saskatoon's delicious Gateway to Montreal

by kemptonjones Updated Aug 29, 2003

Liberty's is Saskatoon's own western Gateway to Montreal . . with an eclectic decor in salute to that grande dame of Canadian cities and Mecca of delicatessens, the only thing missing here for Montrealer-wananbes is a two cheek welcome kiss. Liberty's personal service and sparkling personality quickly makes up for that...
Hospitality is truly spoken here. . .
    c'est formidable!

Favorite Dish: delicious Hot Smoked Meat sandwich on rye with a crunchy Kosher dill served with fries... because Liberty does it all Montreal Style... followed by delectable sugar pie, a Quebec down home favorite.
Oui, Chez Liberty on mange bien...et pour nous autres, c'est tres delicieux . . .parce que "Quebec sait faire" . .
venez voire et bon appetit....a bientot!

Too many to list - but I'll give it a shot! Crawdaddy's, The Taverna, Blue Diamonds, Fud (pronounced Food), Amigos, Alexanders, Peter D's, Delphi's, Carvers, The Samurai, Mykono's, 2nd Avenue Grill, Saskatoon Asian Restaurant, The Granary, The Saigon Rose, The Black Duck, The Cave, The Station Place, and the list could go on!!!!
Saskatoon has so many unique retaurants - I recomend you try as many as you can. Take the list I just mentioned as a good start if your stay is short!

Favorite Dish: Try the lasagna at The Taverna! Made with Bechemel sause and home made tomato sause. Unlike any you've had before.

You will find various kind of food in this restaurant, not only pizza. Last time when I was there I ordered Pizza Zorba, with a lot of olives and feta cheese over.

Perfect for those hot summer days, a double-decker bus that serves ice cream. Open April-October, this bus isn’t going anywhere, hence the name, Bus Stop.
