A long way to Saskatchewan
Visiting Saskatchewan (Regina) from Europe means a long flight (or better flights). The airport of Regina doesn’t have customs and you always need a connecting domestic flight, either from Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver. On these airports one has to go through customs. Be aware this may take some time and I recommend having at least two hours between arrival and departure time.Regina Airport is rather small and there are not much flights (about 20 per day) and destinations. Most flights are operated by Air Canada Jazz (Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Edmonton). Other airlines are WestJet (Calgary, Winnipeg , Edmonton) and TransWest Air (Saskatoon). The only international destination is Minneapolis (by Northwest Airlines).Regina Airport has a café restaurant (Starbucks / Capital Brew) and two gift shops/newsstand.
