Niagara Falls 'The Flying Saucer' is a great late-night UFO (seriously, it is shaped like a saucer inside and out) where you can get anything and everything. Huge portions, decent prices, massive drinks. Tim Horton's, a Canadian landmark. You will not have to drive more than 5 minutes to find one in any Canadian city. Saucer.....IT IS SHAPED LIKE A UFO!!!! Timmy's....only eating establishment that has ridiculously long lines between 6 and 10 am!!
Saucer....Pasta, Saucer Fries Tim Horton's (aka Timmy's, Horny Tim's)...chocolate chip muffin, heated and buttered, medium peach juice with alot of ice (it's just so sweet) Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Saucer.....Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls Tim Horton's....where is there NOT a Timmy's?!?!

The Salmon River House (Nova Scotia) I stayed at the The Salmon River House. A beautiful Country Inn with great restaurant that I absolutely can reccomend. I don't reccommend a hotel very quickly, but this is one of the places I can clearly remember, and absolutely loved. So when you are in Nova Scotia, and travelling this way, make sure that you book for the night here! Hahaha, in case you wonder : no I don't get a commision for saying this :-) Here is some more information about the inn : The Salmon River House was built in 1850 as a settler's cottage and was opened to the travelling public in 1920, it has been known as the Salmon River House ever since. Of course over the years it has grown from the original cottage to its present status as a full service, licensed Country Inn including The Lobster Shack Restaurant. Although our unpretentious size and country decor reflect the hardworking fishing and lumbering folk that first setted on the Marine Drive of Nova Scotia, we are still dedicated to seafood and lobster, great steaks, sweets, cozy accommodations with a homey ambiance and impeccable cleanliness. Location : approx 40 Minutes away from Halifax or Halifax international Airport. Highway7 to Musquodoboit Harbour. Address : Salmon River House Country Inn and Lobster Shack Restaurant 9931 #7 Highway, Salmon River Bridge, Head Jeddore, Nova Scotia, Canada - B0J 1P0 Tel: (902) 889-3353 889-3086 Fax (902) 889-3653 Toll-Free 1-800 565-3353 e mail: salmonrh@istar.ca Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Mitzi's is a great little restaurant in downtown Winnipeg. It is really busy at lunch time with the business crowd. The crowd is much more reasonable at supper time. The prices are really reasonable, the stirfry comes with tonnes of chicken and shrimp, and soup to start.
My favourite is the Chicken and Shrimp Stir Fry. Everyone else's favourite are the Chicken Fingers. My favourite restaurant in Quebec City by PrairieDee This is a great little restaurant in old upper town. The food is fabulous and the prices are very reasonable, almost cheap. You may get lucky and sit along the counter and you can watch them prepare the crepes, or maybe you'll sit at one of the window tables with the shutters open. You may have to wait in line, but the wait is worth it. Yum, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
Crepes for breakfast, crepes for lunch, crepes for supper, crepes for dessert. I think you understand why I like this restaurant. I love several of the Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants on Spadina street. If a restaurant looks busy, I expect you can infer the reason why: good food (unless there is a large grand opening sign: then there are no guarantees). In the middle of Spadina Street there is a little shopping mall with a restaurant on top that offers some pretty good dim sum on the weekends. I'll confess I've had better dim sum, but the selection here will not disappoint (especially if you aren't as particular about your dim sum as I). There is a wonderful little French restaurant in Toronto called Napolean's. It is excellent, but you need reservations, need to dress spiffy, and it is NOT inexpensive. Another nice restaurant is at the top of Toronto's CN Tower. I highly recommend dining at the restaurant since you get more or less the same view as the viewing tower and don't have to needlessly spend money just to get some photos. Enjoy the restaurant (lunch or dinner) and through the course of the meal you will be rotated around the top to enjoy all the views (of course, I highly recommend a table next to the window!!!). Kilmorey Lodge has the best restaurant in the village. They are open in the winter for cross-country skiers. They have meals that appeal to the gourmet eaters in the group and also even more traditional meals. They provide a great wine list.

by Venturingnow When you're in the Canadian area, you have to go to Tim Hortons for breakfast. It's sort of like the American Dunkin Donuts, but they serve more b-fast foods. They're are normally connected to a Wendy's, and they're in the airports.
The maple frosted doughnuts with a fresh brewed cup of Tim Hortons coffee, oh the best! If that's not your deal, or you're on the go, grab some Timbits! Little mini-donut holes. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherOther Contact: Other menu items include the fol
