by eagerbeaver2

The most beautiful place I have been was North Carolina. The Pisgah National Forest and The Appalachian Mountains are totally BREATH TAKING. The mountain streams, beautiful trees, the smell of all of the flowers, old log cabbins w/ outhouses, rustic houses that you would never think people live in, so much beauty. The mountains just draw you in, you never want to leave that type of beauty.

You must visit Bayside in Miami, a football game in Pro-Player stadium in Miami. You must vist Universal Truth center in Miami. In Ft. Lauderdale, there restaurants, jazz music of all kinds. the statue of Liberty in New York, and the many art museums in Chicago, and New York. You will really love America. Well I live here there are many fond memories. My most fondest was a B.E.T. concert, in hog Island, Detroit in 1994. It was awesome.

Visit the 'strip' in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is so much to do and see for most ages...young and old alike. Unlike popular belief, there is a lot more to it than just gambling at the unique casinos. One of my favorite vacations was a family trip to South Dakota. We went first with the intentions of setting off fireworks on the fourth and ended up traveling further in to see Mt.Rushmore and exploring the beautiful Badlands. Another must see location in the good old USA.

Visit Sedona, AZ. This is between Slide Rock National Park and Red Rock National Park. Beautiful area to relax, hike around, and get a great meal. You can stay in a resort or a lower end hotel. We both arrived in Sedona from Flagstaff and felt relaxed immediatly.

See the Royal Ontario Museum!...

by stuffitinme

See the Royal Ontario Museum! If you absolutely must, do see the CN tower, just to tell your friends that you did, but be prepared to be ripped of. Wander up and down Yonge Street, wander back and forth on Queen Street. If you have kids, please take them to the Ontario Science Centre, it's a blast. Best memory.....hmmmm.....can't do it! I have too many memories. A White Christmas, a hot summer day at the cottage? I could go on and on. When I do leave though, I miss my family, and of course, my cats!

by smiles97

We booked about 5 months in advance to have dinner at Spagos in Hollywood. We were guaranteed to see a star there, and when we got there we were only a few tables away from Steven Segal and Kelly Le Brock. It was a shame that back then I had no idea who Steven Segal was! Gee there were so many highlights from the hustle and bustle of New York, Kennedy Space Center in Florida, going on a Mississippi boat cruise drinking hurricanes in New Orleans, seeing Gracelands in Memphis (even though Im not a big Elvis fan!) trecking the Grand Canyon, hitting all the casinos in Las Vegas and then staying with a friend who Id been writing to since the age of 12 in California, and doing the 'local thing'.
