Okay - thereīs a road to the ice-cap, a beautiful lake and many musks, but you can do it better.
Take a further step and visit some real greenland citys. From Kangerlussuaq you can fly to Nuuk, Ilulissat and Sisimiut and a lot of other fantastic destinations. Leave a Comment

I visited Nuuk on a cruise ship, the courtesy bus dropped us off on the waterfront, where the only shops are selling souvenirs.
The 'real' shops are on Imaneq, between the waterfront and the container port. I went into NOTA-BENE, an electrical, photographic and computer retailer.
Delighted to find a shop selling camera film I ended up with some Fuji Superia 100/36 with a Develop Before 2007/07 date (49 DKK/Ģ4.60 each) and some AGFA APX 100-36 (also 49 DKK/Ģ4.60 each) which, as I was about to leave NUUK on the ship, I discovered is BLACK AND WHITE. ...Fine for photographing Warsaw in 1956, but USELESS in colourful Nuuk on a sunny day in 2007.
Don't be so delighted to find a shop selling camera film that you forget to check the "Process/Develop Before" date! ...Also check the price sticker hasn't been slapped over the words "black and white" on the film box!
I later discovered Fuji Superia 35mm, 36-exposure film at the Harding Bros tax-free shop on the Fred.Olsen Boudicca ship was only Ģ2.99 (cruise ships don't always rip you off).
