The house is now open fore everybody to visit for free - just go to the hotelmaneger at Hotel Uummannaq (Arne) fore the key! It´s about 45 min. walk from the town. The path is marked with red dots.

The only bus in the village.

by mwe Updated Jul 22, 2007

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Greenland does not have a road network like other countries. Communties only really exist on or near the coast, so air or water are the main forms of transport. Motor vehicles in Narsarsuaq are a mixture of 4x4s, quad-bikes, bicycles and hotel minibuses.

The town's only full-sized bus was used as a shuttle-bus for our cruise-ship: it is a DAB (Dansk Automobil Byggeri)-bodied Leyland and a rather splendid 'bus it is.
