Above the town is the impressive mountain plateau named -Lyngmarksfjeldet, that towers some 800-900 meters. It is a good stipe hike. The route is marked with blue paint. At the plateau there is a glassier and if you are planing ahead you can arrange for a dog sledge tour.

Do bring food and drink as the tour might take longer then you think.

Start off On top of the world The mountain hiker ;-) Game ?snow grouse ..two shoots in the neck!
