Ice cap tour,
The excursion is undertaken in a car, which covers the 25 km to the edge of the The Russel's Gletcher. During the journey there are plenty of opportunities of seeing reindeer, arctic foxes and birds. Part of the trip is off-road and the drive normally takes about 1 hour each way.

The normal price from London was £2800.
But I used my SAS airmiles to get to Kangerlussuaq.
So this trip worked out very cheap for me.

Favorite thing: Musk ox
Musk oxen from the north-east Greenland were transfered to the Kangerlussuaq area in the beginning of 1963 and 1965. Musk oxen look like a cross between a sheep and an ox but are a race of its own.
Fondest memory: Peace and calmness trough out the whole village
