Favorite thing:
Well dont want to put each one, not photos of all and rather have a photo that is los or sitting in some boxes from many years, but for those searching for museums in Mexico City ,this is the loacl newspaper list, in Spanish of course, but you have all the names and addresses to look up the webpages
Mexico DF (the city) has probably indeed more museums than any on Earth. Officially it is 151 , and unofficially more than 200. Many just set up and not align with the tourist office but there are there too. The city can rival the biggies of London, Paris, Madrid, Buenos Aires etc.
You have them all here, the big ones and the unkown. Enjoy it.

Fondest memory:
visiting the museum of archeological history at the bosque de Chapultepec. And many others of lesser interests, but nice too.
Favorite thing:
In 1810, a radical priest gave a rousing plea for revolt that ignited the push to owerthrow Spanish rule.
Fondest memory:
When we stopped at the town, the main plaza was filled with mexican flags , music and scores of families.
For mexicans, visiting this town and church is
akin to an American going to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell.
Favorite thing:
Is importan visit the Antropologic
Museum . You can find real old stones ans
scultures of ancester. Is the basis of the Mexican history. I recommend a guide
at the museum that can explain the mean of each thing. You can spend more than 4
or 5 hour in the museum, but if you are hurry i can tell you the 1rst floor is
the best!!!
If you want more fun
that culture, you can select this options:
Six
Flags: Park atractions. You paid around us$18 dlls and let you
enjoy of all the attractions.
Wax
Museum: I really impress about the prefection statues of wax.
There are a lot of international famous people. Gandhi, the Pope,
ex-presidents of some countries and hollowood stars!!!! whe you get in, try to
get alone in a room, you'll feel somebody is looking you (of coures, that
somebody are the stautes that seen so real) scare!!!! It have a terror area,
too. Get Fun!!!
Next to the Wax Museum is the Ripleys Museum (Belive it of
Not). You can spend hours inside if you read all of the infomation of each
stange object.
Feria de
Chapultepec: Another park attraction. Is cheaper but funny
like Six Flags
Favorite thing:
Go to the Anthropology Museum...go to Coyoacan...go to the Templo Mayor...walk down Calle Moneda and witness all the sidewalk vendors that hark back to the days of the Aztecs.
Fondest memory:
Standing in the Zocalo at night watching a free Christmas concert with my mexican friend Paula with all the Christmas lights decorating the buildings around the zocalo.
