Favorite thing: Zona Rosa and adjacent Roma are the most "hip" and authentic places, since they have recovered from the 1985 earthquake, and now showing beautiful art deco 1930 building next to modern stylish apartments. A lot of parks adds to the atmosphere. Accomodation tips: CondesaDF, old building revamped with modern design, and elhostaldevictor.com, if you prefer a luxurious personalized B&B.

Zona Rosa - Mexico City

Favorite thing: Lots of places from which to choose. By the way, the Zona Rosa is a diverse district - not a "gay district." It's the city's center for live entertainment - bars & restaurants - and attracts all sorts of people. Wander about and you'll find a place to your liking - it's a relatively small zone.

Favorite thing: Zona Rosa

The well known shopping district and good restaurants' area.

I arrived from Cancun around midday and was leaving to Europe the next morning why the easiest place to spend a few hours for looking around sights and have a nice mexican meal was the ZONA ROSA area and its surroundings!
