This is a replica of the famous 40's nightclub in Havana, Cuba. They offer cuban food, music and ambiance. The walls are covered in pictures of people who went to the original club, Ernest Heminway, etc, and you can leave your own personal autograph on the wall. YOU MUST: Try the Mojito. A popular cuban drink that resembles lemonade served with white rum and mint leaves.

The Moon Bar is one of my favorites places in the city. What it makes it defferent is the uncommon way to be in a bar - like in the beach but in the city. It is located at "Camino Real Hotel" so you will be able to meet people all around the world, a snak, some drinks and the elegant and stylish decoration. by jumanuel Ixchel is a cool place, the concept was change a few years ago, but it really worth it, I celebrate my last Birthday in here, so take a look to some of the pics and you will see. It works as a restaurante from 13:00hrs, and at night a lounge is open! Take a drink, have a nice dinner and enjoy the lounge music!

The guide book said to be careful of this place that there are alot of thieves and blah blah blah. Yes, you need to be careful at night and while drinking and partying but just use your brain. This was a fun place with alot going on. There are tons of mariachis, people hanging around listening to music, some people dancing, alot of people drinking. Toward the back of the Plaza Garibaldi where a bunch of Rasta/goth type of people that where hanging around. I stayed away from them because they smelled REALLY bad. Other than that we had the time of our lives. We danced, drank, took pictures, hung out at the little bar next to the Plaza called Tenapa, or something like that. This place was a great way to spend a night out. After a while though you start noticing that there are alot of very drunk people. There are police around to watch over things to make sure everything stays calm. So that was good. People watching here was alot of fun too. There are alot of people here so watch your purse/wallet/belongings. Plaza Garibaldi is a very fun place to hang out at.
There isnt a dress code here to speak of but you might want to dress warm because it can get chilly at night. Also watch your belongings especially if you are drinking. Plaza Garibaldi is named for Giuseppe Garibaldi Jr., who was a lieutenant colonel (teniente coronel) in the army of Pancho Villa during the initial victories of the 1910 Mexican Revolution. For people that like to dance and meet people of everywhere this is your place, i like it cause everyday its a different type of music, beer is about 3 dollars, and you can dress as you want. If youstay downstair you can sit and hear some jazz music or blues, if you go upstair you can dance.

Located in the vibrant Zona Rosa district, Cielo Rojo is a traditional Mexican restaurant and cantina that burts with energy at night beginning with a lively mariachi band, followed by dance music that goes until 3:30 a.m. (at least that's when they kicked me out). The food looked good too, but all I did was drink tequila shots and Victoria beer, so I can't speak for it. Mariachi violin by alza Lots of fun. More Mariachi pics in a travelogue below.
No codes are set for a good old Mexican fiesta. Inside and terrace seating, very informal and you can sing and whistle and clap along with everyone else. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music
