    You should go at least once to Sanborns while being in México - especially the one in the centro historico. The waitresses wearing their liveries look really nice and are doing a great job, always looking for your best.

    Specials are changing all the time.

    If want to combine history and food together then this is your place.
    The casa de azulejos is situated in the historic center.
    This beautiful Baroque construction is now owned by the Sanborn store-restaurant chain, so you might like to have a snack while you're here. Originally built as a palace for the Marqués del Valle de Orizaba, the tiles (azulejos) on the façade date back to the 18th century and are said to be Chinese in origin. The interior is quite stunning: a Moorish patio and a mural by Orozco are just two of its special features.

    Enchiladas Suizas. Can be hot for some people but I love it

    Just being in the restaurant and watching people is great. All I did was stare and look up at the glass ceiling and wonder when they put it in. The architecture is great...and I preferred sitting in the first floor near the fountain. There is a second floor where you can look down--great view.
