I rode a 3-wheeled Honda ATC 90, off road in San Felipe, Baja Norte, Mexico around 1979.
We were at an RV Camp just North of that huge rock mountain on the beach.
My opinion of going down there now would be different of coarse. Now I'd have to go with a semi-"rough it" type small group and at the least crowded? Or cooler weather time obviously. October?
Also, maybe even stay on the Pacific side. Cooler and more pleasant for the women.you bring. Anyway now, it would be good to get a ride in a desert semi-race vehicle and go about 85-95 miles per hour plus; on the super long streches of sandy primitive travel ways, awesome! Or rent an offroad motorcycle and go with a small group. You could get one of those bikes going pretty good and wide open speed out there I'll bet. A real dream!

The Seafoods are freshly caught so how can that go wrong? Ask anyone who's been to Baja,CA.
You can find most environments that you need!
Locals, Workers, Partiers, and upper class too.

Favorite Dish: Shrimp Quesadilla: amazingly fresh and good.
Fish or Shark Tacos: the favorite of most!
Any type Toastada: amazing taste with fresh salsa and fried jalepenos (oh my!)
Chimichanga beef burrito: you won't ever forget the good flavor with fresh guacamole!
Mexican Flan dessert: another North American favorite item.

    Good Treats!
