I couldnt really read the name of this place, looked like Rasa Calabra or something. Its a very small place located at the beginning of the town next to the information booth. They sell cigars and different flavored coffees here. Also bottled water and sodas. We walked around the town did some shopping and before we left we sat here and relaxed a...more
Usually it never fails. We eat way toooo much here so after we eat we walk around the town of Puerto Nuevo. The kids like to pick up some toys or little trinkets to take home. This is also where we usually buy or alcohol. The Mexican tequila is much cheaper here than in the states so we purchase a few bottles to take home.As you walk around the...more

Villa Ortegas is one of the newer places to eat in Puerto Nuevo and I had never gone to eat here til now. It is probably the biggest restaurant here. The views are...more
Everytime I go to Puerto Nuevo this place is always packed with people. The line usually goes right out the door and down the street. Personnaly I think there are too many good places to eat in Puerto Nuevo that i refuse to wait in that ridiculously long line. But apparently many people think that its worth the wait. Maybe some day I will try it,...more
We usually sit on the third floor and have an ocean view. I have come to Puerto Nuevo a million times and I dont think I have ever noticed the little church in the middle of the shops and restaurants. Mass is at 1:30pm on Sundays and the place is so tiny that it probably sits about 45 people or so.
Mexico is a mostly Roman Catholic country, and the Virgen Mary is very important to the people.
The church is located right as you enter the town and to the right.
