Rosarito Restaurants

I have lived in Rosarito for 1 year and eaten multiple times at Gusto Cocina & Bar in San Antonio Del Mar. I have finally given up on this restaurant as they seem to be declining at an ever faster pace. At least once a month patrons are served a side order of food poisening with their meals. Kitchen conditions are deplorable, seafood is left unrefrigerated, raw meats are left out and cut on the same boards as vegetables, and more....

To make matters worse, the owners of this restaurant seem to care more about themselves than their customers and employees. Weekends routinely see loud, obnoxious, rude, and threatening drunkards at the bar - and the owners have NO policy in place to deal with them other than to continue to cater to them while they scare off other patrons.

Prices have increased dramatically on the food while standards have decreased and alcoholic beverages are rated at the same price as an upscale San Diego bar!

In addition, the treatment of loyal employees is abhorrent! The owners do not adhere to the Mexican labor laws, underpay and overwork the employees, and force employees to quit (in order to avoid firing severance pay) in order to fatten their own wallets. This of course causes disorganization and poor service to the customers.

Avoid this restaurant on your next trip to Rosarito!!!!
