Plaza Rio: If you don't Barter to well?

Plaza Rio Tijuana Shopping Center is where a majority of the locals shop for shoes, and clothing and go out on dates. It has a movie theater and a really good yogert shop! Mmmmmmmmm!

How to get there by foot?
Walk south-westerly though the Pueblo Amigo Shopping Center. As you exit the shopping center, you should be on Juventud Oriente (marked simply as "Oriente" on Guia Roji map). Looking straight ahead, across Juventud Oriente you will see the stone walls rising that form the side of the Tijuana River. Turn left and walk south-easterly along Juventud Oriente. Walk under the first pedestrian bridge you come to and walk 4 more blocks to Independencia. Climb the stairs to this vehicular bridge and use the sidewalk to walk across the Tijuana River. When you get to the other side, you will see the dome of the Cultural Center to your right and Plaza Rio Tijuana Shopping Center to your left.

What to buy: Window shop and check it out. It's a mall, and all prices are set!

What to pay: A little less than American prices.

Away from Revolution Avenue and the tourist shopping area, is the Plaza Rio Tijuana. It's basically an upscale shopping mall, and quite a contrast from the other side of town.
