This place was a BLAST and WILD!

If you are young, or even old... in CABO, and want to have fun.. you MUST GO HERE!

The loudest music I have seen at a club in a LONG TIME, very reminiscent of the clubs in Cancun during spring break!

    WILD, FUN, CLEAN, NICE, ETC!

Even the staff get up and dance on the tables!

    Highly Recommend!

Not a place to eat, nor are the drinks that great, but you should of had enough to drink by the time you get there late night that it doesn't matter! Crazy and fun atmosphere with dancing on tables and jello shots (a must). Even if you aren't a dancer, you will have fun grooving on the table. Even better is the people watching. I've had more fun watching both the ridiculous and the hotties getting wild. Definitely go and have a shot for me!
    p.s. NOT FOR KIDS.

Dress Code: No dress cose but guys are required to keep their shirts on. They however don't seem so concerned about the girls.

El Squid Roe is definitely one of the hottest places to party! There are less people in the early evenings as this is a restaurant by day, but the party starts pumpin' around 11:00pm. Lots of young people get down and dirty on the dance floor, or kick back in the booths and couches with a brew. The upper level allows for some pretty good people watching, and has three bars. The lower level sells t-shirts and has 2 bars, on at either end. It's a very "anything goes" attitude! Many times the staff will start the night with the "Tequilla Congo," handing guests long balloons and parading them the length of the place to get free shots! The music is loud and rockin', with everything from "Sweet Home Alabama" and "I Love Rock-n-Roll" to the latest rap music. For the older crowd, there's plenty of fun too! They even have a stand for snacks upstairs. And no worries, folks, there's always taxis in front when you stumble out at 4:00 am.

Dress Code: I've seen suits and skimpy cut-offs here! Anything goes at Squid Roe.

This place is one CRAZY party! It is a huge club that has 2 levels and half of it is outdoors, which is nice because it can get quite warm. They play all the greatest music and people are dancing on tables and just about anywhere. Girls go around with jello shots and whistles. Needless to say, I've had my share of them.

The place totally goes off and it is a lot of fun! Just like any other dance club, most of the people here are in their 20s and 30s. It is THE place to go in Cabo all the time. Great crowd, good looking people, great music.....what else do you need???

Dress Code: Anything goes. Some people cruise in wearing their beach attire and others dress up to the nines.

Open air bar/dancing. Good music, fun people, 2 floors! I went during hurricane season (didn't know that before I left), but i still had a blast! One night it rained in the middle of the night. no one in the club cared at all, everyone just kept dancing. Everyone was soaking wet! one of my favorite memories of my trip.

El Squid Roe: Dance Till You Lose a Flip-Flop

by modrocker Updated Feb 15, 2005

This place is the best night spot I have found in San Lucas so far. The crowd is mixed ages and backgrounds but mostly 20 and 30 somethings. There is space to sit along the walls or to people watch from the balcony. The music is mostly top 40's stuff and the drink selections are typical for Mexico.

I personally don't like crowded dance floors so my suggestion if you feel the same way is to get there closer to 10pm when there is still room to shake it.

Dress Code: There is no official dress code as far as I could tell. However, I would suggest not wearing flip-flops or other shoes that come off easily. Walking across the crowded dance floor is the only way you can get from one end of the club to the other. This leads to the loss of shoes, trust me on this one. You really don't want to be stumbling back to your accomodations with only one or no shoes.

El Squid Roe: Tons of Fun

    Don't Be Shy

Eating and Drinking by day, turns out of control nightclub at night. Even more crazy than the Giggling Marlin. The later it gets, the more wild this place gets. Dancing on the tables, shots of tequilia, and congo lines going through the entire place are included in the nightly fun. Not for the fainthearted!

My Brother, Ronnie, and I at Squid Row

Ok, I love El Squid Row. It is entertaining all night long. The drinks are cheap and you can dance on the tables. Just watch out for the Jello shots. Once you start the waitresses keep cramming them down your throat at $3.00 a piece this is an expensive practice. But honestly, I love the place.

    El Squid Roe...

We only went in this disco for about ten minutes. The whole interior was from iron (like a Meccano) and the staff was not so nice. The music is way too loud and for a beer and a bottle flat water it was US$ 12. This place is for sure not our style...

    nightlife baby

All drinking roads lead to El Squid Roe & Billy Kitchen! Start off at the Office, head on down to the Giggling Marlin, and then end up at El Squid Roe. It's the place to drink tequila, get sweaty and stagger out ***-faced at 4 in the morning!

The drinks are tasty, the music is appropriately loud, and the MC is always obnoxious. The sawdust on the floor encourages falling down and puking. Hey, is this place set up to party, or what? This place is totally friggin' off the hook!

Dress Code: No dress code, just don't show up naked. Or better yet, show up naked -- it'll save time!

  • El Squid Roe: The best in cabo

by catme Written Feb 13, 2004

I spent a week in Cabo about a month ago, and visited El Squid Roe every night I was there. Why? Because it was the best party every night. Lively. Youthful. Loud. Crazy. All words to describe the setting. The staff is more than accomodating and added to the atmosphere! Drinks were excellent....overall, I loved this place!

    El Squid Roe

El Squid Roe is a restaurant but quickly turns into one of Cabo's hottest night spots. By the way, I wouldn't spend my money to eat here. There are 2 levels. The top is a balcony that looks down on the bottom level dancefloor, and has a cage to dance in and the very important banos (bathrooms). The bottom level has all of the seating for dinner around the dancefloor. The colorful decorations on the walls feature signs with hilarious quotes.

The music is great - they play a little bit of everything. All age groups can enjoy it, although every time I have been in there it is a younger crowd. The majority of people in here are tourists, but locals come here as well.

    Dress Code: None.

  • Of course of course El Squid...

Of course of course El Squid Roe.

But like I said before Cabo is not that big. So you can actually bar hop between all of the hot spots in the same night.

Some other great spots are The No Where Bar, Cabo Wabo, Cool Hippos, Jungle Bar, Tanga Tanga and Kokomos!!
Squid is where everyone ends up at the end of the evening. It is a wild and crazy loud place. You can dance on the tables until the wee hours of the morning. You can visit it every night and have a different experience each night. There are no rules here!!! If you don't like crazy parties stay away from Squid especially if they are starting the matador!!!!

Dress Code: You can dress as you please. You can dress up or go in shorts and a tee shirt. Just wear something comfortable!!!
