This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and is very visually stimulating, with all of its colorful Mexican decor. The large Tequila bar is very impressive, boasting 400 varieties. There is even a big glass jar of some local Tequila with a pickled rattlesnake at the bottom, obviously for the gringo tourists. Around dinner time, Pancho's is also frequented by strolling Mariachis - some good, some bad. All in all, Pancho's has everything: great atmosphere, food, and Tequila.
Favorite Dish: The perfect meal for me was the chile rellenos combination, an ice cold Negra Modelo and a shot of chilled Tres Generaciones Tequila. This is one of my favorite meals anytime , anywhere. If I was on Death Row this would be part of my last meal.
A great place to go for lunch! This restaurant was actually opened up by Californians from the Ventura area! The food and ambience is great, but the prices are more "L.A." than "Mexico", if you know what I mean.....
Favorite Dish: They have great margaritas and everything on the menu is great! Wonderful fish tacos and enchiladas! They have the greatest selection of tequilas! You should request a Patron tequila martini - it's very refreshing and smooth!
Pancho's is the perfect restaurant for your first night in Cabo. The food is excellent, whether you get seafood or the Mexican specialties. If you went fishing earlier in the day, bring your catch and they will cook it the way you like it.
The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxing, and friendly. There is also a mariachi band. The restaurant is named for Pancho Villa. They also have the largest tequila collection in the world.
I would recommend you definitely eat here during your trip, and get a reservation.
Pancho's is also open for breakfast. The hours are 7AM - 11PM.
Favorite Dish: The tortilla soup is the best in Cabo. Don't fill yourself up with the complimentary chips and salsa.
For dinner, the lobster tail is great but also the priciest item on the menu. The whole red snapper is excellent. The Mexican dishes are also very good.
