I wish I could remember the owner's name, he was great! Took such good care of us and anything we needed was provided. I get his since of humor, some may not but it's all in fun! If it's lobster your after, don't waist your time checking out any other place in town, been there done that. Usually very expensive & not what you were really after. This place has it all & the lobster is fresh, huge and affordable.
Can't wait to take my friends in October.
Order from the wall, love it!!!!

Favorite Dish:
Lobster, lobster lobster!
The ambience is rustic. Thatched roofs, long tables , open air, menu on the wall.
The food is super - authentic great taste.
They charge for chips and salsa - order if you like fried and crispy chips. The salsa is medium hot.
Definitely good value if you want to eat lobster or other sea food.
Make sure you visit the original location in the city of Cabo San Lucas. There's a second location outside of the city that just isn't worth the effort.
It's located about 12+ blocks away from the "downtown" of Cabo. For tourists, I would recommend taking a cab or driving. The neighbourhood between Blvd Marina and the restaurant isn't anything worth seeing.
It's an outdoor restaurant whose menu is located on one wall. It primarily contains seafood and that's what 90% of the people order. The food is awesome. Need a big drink? Order the large Margarita!
My only complaint is the price. It's on the high side for seafood restaurants with most entrees costing $40+ USD. For the same quality, you can find better in Cabo.
Favorite Dish:
The Lobster is the choice. It's usually a one pound lobster that's always cooked to perfection.
I also like the scallops but they aren't nearly as consistent in quality as the lobster.
One warning about ordering the shrimp, you usually don't get that many when compared to the size of lobster or scallops.
The name definitely does not suite this fabulous restaurant tucked under willowy trees strung w/ beehives of twinkling lights.
Actually named "La Golondaria" (the Swallow), we were fortunate enough to drink some wine w/ the owner and compliment him on the feast.
Favorite Dish:
Anything off the chalkboard that serves as the entire restaurant's menu. We split the lobster entree between two of us, and after soup, salad, and a few Mexican coffees we had to get rolled out of the place!
La Golondrina aka The Trailer Park. a wonderful outdoor restaurant. great seafood and steaks and the margaritas hit the spot! a fantastic mariachi band.
a bit expensive.
the outside setting with the trees and lamps was very romantic.
Favorite Dish:
seafood combination was wonderful. ribs were great.
