When you are here, do take an ATV tour. It is worth the time. Make sure you use a reputable company. We went with Baja and they were very good. The tour takes you through the hills and over to the beach on the Pacific Ocean side. We saw at least 3 or 4 sealions catching some lunch while we were there and caught a quike whale spout. Just remember, wear old clothes. It is very dusty. Directions: They picked us up from the Rio Palace and took us to the ATV site.

CABO ADVENTURES- is a relatively new tour provider in Cabo, but a sister company to Vallarta Adventures, the largest tour provider in Mexico. In Cabo they have 4 fantastic new tours they are running on the water and on land. The first tour is the brand new Americas Cup Sailing Tour which is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get to compete in a sail regatta on one of the actual boats from the 2000 races. The company has flown in actual members of the New Zealand race team and they bought two of the NZL boats from past races and you get the chance to grind sails, and hoist the jib and etc. Its a thrill that you canīt experience anywhere else. The second tour they offer is an incredible journey into the heart of the Cabo desert on one of the companies massive Mercedes Unimog trucks. You get to explore the world outside of the bars and party scene of Cabo....Highly Recommended. The third thing they offer goes without mention....They have one of the premier dolphin centers in the world, home to close to a dozen bottlenosed dolphins that were resqued from either near death situations or accidents. This truly is the crowd pleaser of Cabo...a sure bet for any child or dolphin lover...its awesome. www.cabodolphins.com The fourth and final tours that the company offers is the ultimate adventure for the thrill seeker in the group. The Canyon Canopy Adventure is the pinnacle of fly by the seat of your pants adrenaline. Zip lines, rope bridges, rock wall climbing, tight rope wires, and more....await any and all takers....you can thank me later. www.cabo-adventures.com Address: www.cabo-adventures.comPhone: 18663935255Directions: www.cabo-adventures.com any and all taxi drivers know where to go if you just say dolphin center in cabo, they know.Website: www.cabo-adventures.com Other Contact: www.cabodolphins.com

These guys are always on the beach. I didnt do it but Rob did. All I remember thinking was, this doesnt look safe and it was expensive to do. Now i wished i had done it because you probably could get some awesome pictures from up there. Rob loved it and said it was worth every penny. Maybe next time i wont be so scared. I might just try it. It does look like fun. Address: On the Cabo beaches

Bora Baja Off-Road Adventure. I was in Los Cabos for a week with my 2 children.(ages 20 and 22) My son really wanted to go off roading. What a great time. The jeeps only hold 2 people, a driver and passenger. My son drove one jeep with my daughter and I went with the owner. We were lucky it was just us. We did the 4 hour tour. We road through the desert, saw ranches and drove down to the Pacific Ocean. The scenery was amazing. We stopped at the ocean and had lunch. Each jeep has a packed cooler . We had sandwiches, water, juice, soda, chips and fruit. All included in the price. On the way back since it was just us, the owner knew my son could handle the trail and did some fast driving. We were on some of the "roads" used in the Baja 1000 race. My son was in his glory. My daughter is a big fruit lover, so along the way we stopped and Norman showed us how to pick this fruit off of the catus plant, clean it and eat it. THe owner, Norman, was great. He told about different sights we saw along the way. If you book with them, mention the family that picked the catus fruits. Oh Norman speak great English so no need to worry about the language. They have 3 different tours: 1 1/2 hours, 2 1/1 hours and 4 hours. Oh all of the jeeps are air conditioned and have a 2 way communication system to talk to the lead driver. Jeeps are comfortable and well maintained. Hotel California Restaurant by SunBum1999 If you have a chance, rent a car and head north to Todos Santos. The roads are very well maintained. Instead of watching for deer, you have to watch out for cattle crossing the road. But the small town has several restaurants and small shops to visit. The Hotel itself seems to be a historic site. Theirs a bar and restaurant on the premises. Leave a Comment Address: Todos SantosDirections: North of Cabo san Lucas

Hang On Tight by jag17 Several places in town offer an ATV tour to the Old Lighthouse. It is a bouncy, dusty, adrenaline filled, few hours. We chose the Rancho Tour group. They were very safety conscious, and went over the driving instructions several times. You will follow the guide out of town, and stay as a group until you reach the sand dunes. You are then free to explore the area on your own. Take the last tour of the day when the sun is starting to go down. It is a bit cooler without the sun beating on you (they recommend you wear long pants). The shop (starting point) is located on a small street near The Office. (Everyone can tell you how to get to The Office)!Website: www.ranchotours.com
