    You need to spend a whole day at Uxmal. The parts that you see in the pictures are only about 1/4 of what the actually city covered. You can walk for miles back and see all the different buildings covered with overgrowth. Until the Mexican government has more money to excavate, it will be a long time until the full city can be unearthed.
