An other silver shop at 5th Avenue. Like i told you before there are several of these shops so you better be carefull where you buy what. Cause it can be the neighbour next door has a better prize for you in mind.
What to buy: Juwelery for your wife, girlfriend or friend, kid or family. There is plenty to choose from. Very expensive and just a nice prize.
What to pay: What your purse can spend

Beside the fact that hammocks are on the beach and in some bars, you can buy them to bring home.
Hammocks are the beds of the Mayan people and dont forget to sleep in it the Mayan way, cause that spares your neck and back. (that means that you dont lay in the lenght of the hammock).
What to buy: We have seen several prizes of those hammocks. It depends if you want a sitt-hammock or a bed-hammock.
What to pay: Never pay to much but if you bet to low you will miss the bargain !

I had it once when i was in the Dominican Republic, plaits in my hair.
Its great cause you dont have to worry about the way you look for about 10 - 14 days.
There are more ladies who wanna please you with this hairstyle so if you are together there is no need you have to wait for one an other.
What to buy: I didnt ask this time, cause my hair was to short. And for a change they didnt came over to me to ask if i wanted my hair in plaits too.
That was a real releave.
What to pay: Aks the lady a prize, and just say something lower (about 50%) and see what happens

If you like shopping compared with a nice day out or on the beach, you have to visite Playa del Carmen.
Its just a great day out and if you like to buy some great things (Mexican or not) to bring home, you can eat your heart out at 5th Avenue (or Boulevard).
What to buy: There are all kind of things, just have a look at one of my travelogues in one of my other Mexican pages.
What to pay: Make sure you cant buy the same item in the shop next door for a cheaper prize.

This is one of the many silver shops you can find on the 5th Boulevard. Its amazing that so many can sell the same kind of silver juwelery and still have a meal.
What to buy: I bought a great ring and a neckless for Bianca. It wasnt cheap but I had a good caus for that. Bianca had been to the vets with Umfufu to let her go to cat heaven. And thats a hard job to do.
What to pay: You pay what you think is a good prize, but make sure the neighbour shop hasnt the same item for a cheaper prize.

You understand that this isnt only a mens clothes shop. You can buy a t-shirt for the whole family here. You have to be carefull where you buy the shirt, cause there is a difference in quality and in prize.
So if you see one you like just walk all of 5th Boulevard and make sure you dont pay too much.
What to buy: Never too much !
What to pay: Some shops are having a "shopprize" like in the USA or Europ, at others you can make your own prize.

If you like to have a good shopping day in Playa del Carmen just go with your friend (woman!) and dont take men with you. They are alright to pay for you but if you have their money / credit card that will do just fine.
On the picture you can see me and Leny just ended a day at the boulevard....HAPPY FACES !
What to buy: You can buy from local craft work, wooden pieces, silver and gold juwelery, Mexican drinks and food, Mexican clothes and dont forget the sombrero. And now i forget more then half of the things, but i think the 2047 charaters wouldnt be enough to tell you all.
What to pay: Make sure if you buy on the street markets you start bedding at 1/3 rd of the prize they are telling you, that you have to pay in the first place.

This is wow ! I always wanted a cowboyhad. But then again (read the other shopping tip about this store) i made up my mind.
What to buy: You can buy here all kind of leather things, even made specially for you. But remember you pay the prize !
What to pay: If you dont have a big heavy wallet just go past this shop, or dribble for the windows.

I saw this shop and was planning of buying some boots, cause here in Holland we only have simmular ones (all like one an other)
But when i turned to see the prizes of these boots, bellts and other things...i didnt want to bring any boot back to Holland LOL
What to buy: They have the most wonderful boots you can imagine, so if you wanna pay a lot of money for them......and you really, really like them you should buy a pair of boots.
What to pay: The prize i had to pay for the boots i liked was $ 400, so........and they didnt bring the prize down !!

There are some markets on the streets of Playa del Carmen. There was a silver seller on this end of 5th Avenue. As you can see you can enjoy the view while you are walking on the streets.
What to buy: I bought a silver ring with the guy on the little market, cause he is much more cheaper then the shop on 5th Avenue.
What to pay: If they tell you they want to have $ 30 for somthing start with your bed of $ 10 cause then you end up on a reasonable prize.
