    If you drive out of Casas Grandes take time to appreciate the surroundings. The desert here is just gorgeous. There are hidden springs and caves, and this is the land where the famous Pancho Villa rode.

    Paquime is an interesting place for people to visit. It is an amazing look at Ancient America in North Mexico. The cool part is that they are still unearthing parts of this once bustling city. There is a nice museum in both English and Spanish which explain parts of Paquime. It is free and you can see it at your leisure.
