I stayed in La Paz for a week and had a trip of a life time. We visited Es Spiritu Island twice and both times turned out to be very special trips. Not only did we see wild life and an Island with many caves we snorkled with sea lions and many fish. On our return trip back to the beach we encountered about 50 pilot whales and about the same number of dolphins. the dolphins were jumping out of the water and splashing the tanga. It was amazing. And to top off the entire trip on our last day in La Paz we journeyed to El Tecolote beach where we took off on our snorkel trips and three Orca whales beached themselves. I was one of the lucky few who helped free the whales from the beach and watched them swim off and join their pod. It was a spiritual encounter and I believe La Paz is the place for me to grow old and die. I have been looking at real estate there and long to be back there.
The weather was great the water was great and the people were wonderful!
Viva La Paz.
