 kd_baby Says:  The Mexicans in Ojinaga are generally friendly people. I personally didn't meet anyone that wasn't likeable. Of course, it helps if you speak at least a little Spanish.

 kd_baby Says:  If you do not speak any Spanish and you don't have anyone traveling with you that speaks Spanish, you're in for a world of hurt.Very few people are bilingual in Ojinaga, and most individuals that are bilingual speak comprehensive but not fluent English.

A: You can walk across the border but the central square is not very close to the crossing. I've driven across a few times and had no problems so you can easily do that....
