Nestled in the mountains, approximately 54km from Saltillo, is the gorgeous Monterreal resort. Experience the outdoors by participating in a variety of activities, such as horseback riding, hiking, golf, fishing, tennis, ATVs, and skiing. Make it a day trip, or book one of their lodges and escape from the rest of the world for a while.

Favorite thing: The hiking and rock climbing in the saltillo area is one of the best things Saltillo has to offer! There are waterfalls rockclimbs and great hikes. The scenery is similar to south waetern Texas but is a bit more day. The elevation of this area is about 6,000 feet high and can take time to get used to, so don't over do it.
