Manzanillo was my favorite Mexican city during this vacation. The one detractor was the belching smoke from the power plant stacks downtown. Fortunately, the wind was predominately from the ocean inland and I was staying at a hotel far up the beach from downtown. The smoke was merely a blemish in the sky as opposed to an annoyance.

Slap on the SUn Block for sure when you are here. The sun is strong and you can easily burn. We always travel with plenty of sunblock since I am extremely white and Liz has a family history of melanoma.
