If you are visiting Guanajuato state by January or February don´t miss this event.
It is a big fair, I have heard the biggest in Mexico. You can find anything here.
There are hundreds of stores. Shoes, clothes, food, art crafts, cheap gifts, music concerts, mechanical attractions, expositions, bungees, rooster fights (I don´t like it, but there exists), parades, etc.
You can miss it. They are visitors from all the country, so there woul be something.
If you want to know more about the fair and Leon, please visit my trilingual site.
Some people love it, some people hate it. But if you are not very sensitive about dead bodies you can go there.
There are dozens of mummies: men, women and children from Guanajuato´s cemeteries.
If you don´t find this creepy and scary it should be an interesting visit. Also this is a museum that you cann´t find everywhere.
WARNING: If you want to visit this museum ok, but a part of these museum is called Museo del Culto a la Muerte or something like that. It charges an extra fee. Don´t pay it, it´s a tourist trap (yes, I falled), it´s lame, boring and you can see that in any halloween store.
