The owner, Rudolfo, was extremely friendly and polite, and made a Bananas Flambe that was out of this world! Prices were really reasonable, and the food was good and tasty.

Its not named Cocodrilo's Cafe for nothing. Just a few footsteps away is a lagoon full of crocodiles and there's nothing between you and them, but some beautiful white sand. This hotel restaurant serves fresh local seafood and fresh juices, and also caters to the tourists with some basic food options on the menu. But that definitely wasn't the reason we had breakfast and lunch here many times. It was the adventure of spotting the crocodiles in the nearby lagoon (which, by the way, are fed by the restaurant staff!!) that made this spot unforgettable! Enjoy! When you arrive off the panga, a local will ask you to follow him and you will take a short little hike through some woods and at the top you will see a veiw (I have it saved for my Isla Ixtapa tip). This is where you can go for some real snorkeling, and its more secluded than the beach you first arrive on. Not hard to find. At the bottom, he will seat you in his beach chairs, and under an umbrella. Ask to see the menu and you will be pleasently surprised- he will bring out the actual food you can order- raw. A plate of FRESH fish, lobster and prawns is more than enough to share between two people. And get this - its $40 USD!
I think this is one of the only dishes they serve, but it is definatly delicious! If not, just ask someone where the beach with coral for sand is.
