Well everything is local in Yelapa..... But this place was not to be beat!!
This is a bakery during the day and a wonderful candelight restuarant at night! -
Outdoor seating, sand floor, fabulous service and excellent food!! All very well priced. (Price below is per person w/ drinks, large Margaritas included....)
Favorite Dish: The Best: Tortilla soup, Jumbo Garlic Shrimp and Shrimp Fajitas!
Oh yes and don't foget the seafood soup, chile relleno, quesadillas, guacamole, grilled fish, enchiladas.....and finally the Margaritas to wash it all down!! Really we ate there 3/9 nights, and had not one complaint.

The local bakery, Panaderia, in the village also serves dinners in the evening. In the morning, the homemade banana bread is sure to fuel you up for a day of....lounging on the beach !! The dinners are seafood based - we had shrimp in garlic sauce and fresh fish filets. Very homey atmosphere - the bakery/restaurant is actually run out of someone's house. It was so fresh, delicious and reasonable and we met some other very interesting, fun locals and travelers while dining there.

The restaurant is located right on the sand. We ate most of our breakfasts here because of the delicious fresh shrimp omelets, tropical fruit plates, yogurt and granola, and fresh squeezed orange juice !! The food was plentiful and very reasonable !! I think the omelets were $7 and large enough for 2 people to share. The fresh fruit plates were $5. The chips and guacamole were out of this world. A great place to hang out for the day in a hammock, swimming, sunbathing with snacking and sipping on cervezas!! Great service - there when you need something but not hovering !!
Favorite Dish: Guacamole and chips - very fresh !!
Limonade - fresh lime juice and soda water

On Wednesday and Saturday nights, the place to be is the Yelapa Yacht Club. Entrees are fancy Mexican, and are about $15 per person for an entree. Live music and dancing makes for a really fun evening, and it seems like the whole town is there!

Outdoors on the beach under a tent. Service is good. Food is good. They serve plenty of Mexican dishes everything from your nachos to your fresh seafood. Alcoholic beverages up for order too. They have SPanish/English speaking staff. I would say bring at least $10US equivalent in pesos for something to eat.
Favorite Dish: I had nachos, they were good.
