    Besides the green tea ice cream I had in Beijing, these are the best ones I've had so far. Tepoznieves is a must-visit in Tepozltan and as it is a franchise, there are several shops located around Mexico. Each shop is pintoresque and colorful decorated.
    Some flavours are: Angel's kiss, roses, tequila, mermaid singing, Tepoztlan snow, etc. There are many, many more flavours but I don't remember all of them!!

  • I ate here because of the name of the restaurant (The Blue Watermelon)! Nice place, and great atmosphere. Very friendly waiters (if a bit flirty).

    I usually don't go to restaurants in Tepoz but to the local market to eat Mexican food known as "garnachas", they can be described as our local fast food. They are everywhere, they are very, very cheap and it's a great opportunity for you to interact with locals.

    Quesadillas, pambazos, pozole, gorditas and all kind of "garnachas".

  • the ambiance is so nice located in the heart of the main plaza, from the Terraza you will have a extraordianry view of the town, there in the terraza, there is sand and you feel like you are in the beach, so nice place to eat in the afternnon and drink in the night

  • This is not just a restaurant, it's a market full of small stands where you can have a seat at any of their 'bars' and enjoy authentic Mexican food! I loved it... the food, and its vibe!

    All the food is homemade-style... they make the tortillas from some kind of black floar or black corn, I'm not sure ... but they are blue. The cheese choice for the quesadillas is a good Oaxaca ... and then, whatever you may want with that!

    If you want to experience something different, you should try the 'chapulines'. I won't tell you what they are ... but if you are adventurous, give them a try. They taste like seeds... although they may look gross! haha!
