There's just too much good food to eat.
If you go downtown you'll find a biiiig supermarket called 'mercado nuevo' where you can eat delicious side dishes such as quesadillas, gorditas, pozole, tamales, pancita, etc....
Also, in Cuautlixco, near "la via" (the railroad rails) you can eat 'picaditas' with all kinds of dishes.

It's an amazing Uruguayan restaurant ... with a great atmosphere. In the first floor, they have a bar with a lounge-looking area ... very nice. Then, if you go upstairs ... you'll see the 'parrilla' and the restaurant's floor, with plenty of Uruguayan decoration!
Favorite Dish: Starting with a flute of 'medio y medio' is a must (something like a Uruguyan sparkling wine), then you can delight yourself with some pasta or (my choice) roasted beef!!
If beef is your choice, you must get some Tannat (Uruguay's wine especiality)!! You'll love it!Related to:
