Vendors sell an array of different types of snacks--everything from fresh corn, to fries, to pigs in a blanket. The fries are definitely a hit; they are made from potatoes and plaintanes..they are sweet in flavor and are topped off with either salt or cinnamon--whichever you prefer.
At every corner, there are vendors in Nayarit. There are a million food finds here within this city, but the most popular treat is sugarcane. The vendors dress it up with lemon, salt and chili and sell it for one peso. It's unlike anything I've ever had before....sweet, salty, juicy, tangy...this is a must!
