If you have the breath enought to climb Cerro de la Silla to the Teleferico, you will see a post card like this, seeing the 3 million people city below your feet. This is an easy 2.5 Km hike travel beginning in La Pastora park.

Monterrey looks very modern, but it is not as interesting as other historical cities in Mexico. The most outstanding fact about Monterrey is the Cerro de la Silla. It is a mountain whose top has the form of a saddle. The city has a lot of malls and fast food restaurants. The Garza García area is nice for living in Monterrey.

La Silla ( The saddle) This is in a mountain and looks to some like a saddle. You can see it from everywhere if there is no smog.
Breathe-taking mountain range, high above Monterrey.
You can see the saddle, but others see the profile of a witch's face when looking at the entire range.
