Take a free tour of Cuahtemoc Brewery (makers of Sol, Dos Equis, Bohemia, among others). Tours are offered during regular business hours and on Saturdays until 2:00 pm. No photos allowed inside.
Across from the entrance is a nice shaded garden with chairs and tables and a kiosk that offers all guests FREE BEER (Light or dark?) They'll serve you as long as you can stand up and ask for it!

This is the brewery where they make Dos Equis, Sol, Carte Blanca, and Indio Beers. I've heard that there is a free tour that you can go on from Monday-Saturday. Unfortunately for us we went on a Sunday and didn't get to go into the brewery. Whenever you pull up to the front gates of the brewery you will notice a very peculiar smell, like that of roasted peanuts?, that was our guess anyway. Even though we didn't get to go on the tour we still enjoyed a free beer on the house in the beer garden.

I have to admit that I missed the tour and just came for the free beer... but I think it might have been interesting. Cuautemoc is Monterrey´s leading beer manufacturer producing CARTA BLANCA, TECATE and DOS EQUIS as far as I know. Tours can be held in English too, and they are as FREE as the beer!

Museums of sports and art, as well as brewery. FREE BEER and lemonade in the courtyard and you don't have to take the tour! Retail outlet for brands made by the brewery. Near the metro, so you don't need to drive.
