La Terraza Persevu is located about 15 miles east of the city of San Felipe. It hosts some of the best views of the ocean and offers locals and travelers alike the opportunity to relax, eat and have some drinks. The bar that we went to, which the only trace of the name of it was a sign that hung from the shack that read ìBarî, was a rather fun experience.
They have something called ìCasuelasî which are HUGE bowls. The ìCasuelasî are filled with liquor and fruit and served with many straws. The idea is that everyone grabs a straw and sucks down the bowl. The only draw back was that these bowls cost 100 USD, but on the other hand each bowl is enough to get about 5 people really drunk. The majority of the people that go here have one goal, which is to relax and get as intoxicated as possible.
The food is GREAT! The tacos and quesadillas are quite tasty! Another thing that I noted was that many people were arriving to this area on their ATVís by beach, which I can only imagine would be a beautiful ride. All in all this ìBarî in Persevu was one of the highlights of my trip to Mexico. The music, the vibe, the ocean, the company and the food was superb!
