Estado de Oaxaca Nightlife

This salsa spot/restaurant/bar is the place to be for meeting locals, drinking, salsa dancing, and if you care to, eating. We arrived early (9pm) and were very few customers at first. Because of that, a salsa instructor asked us present if we were interested in a basic salsa lesson, for free. That started our very fun evening, and the instructor invited us to join his big table of friends for the rest of the night. In 2 hours, the place was packed. There's a live salsa band, and the floor is always full. You can either be content watching great dancers or try it yourself; there are plenty of guys willing to help you learn if you're a girl. If you don't know how to, don't worry; the floor is pretty tight so you won't be conspicuous.

There's no dress code, but if you're a girl, I definitely recommend a skirt/dress with dancing type shoes.

This place is not for everybody.But, if you are looking to meet some freindly drunk Mexicans crammed into a small dance floor..this place can be very freindly at times.

It's a great place. You might catch an italian guy drinking your tequila but it's a great way to meet people. Free Bar has no cover fee, but sometimes you have to wait to get in. Unless you go with the right people. Drinking age? What drinking age? ID is never necessary.

For those of you who become alive while everyone else is aleep, this is your place. Full Drink opens at midnight and closes sometime around 6am. So after you hit Free Bar and some other bars this is the place to go. It's gotten bigger from the first time i went there. They even have a dance cage now.

Whatever you like to dance in.

this restaurant bar nightclub has a live band and plays salsa, merengue at least 30%
You will find good dancers specially on thurday nights.

I think is one of the few discoteques that will accept credit cards

Also one of the few discos that will sell you a banana milkshake if you request it.

there are some nights where they will have salsa instruction

dress to impress, but they will allow you in jeans.
